This was the goal of Israel? I am not sure that Hizbollah attacked inside Israel land that they wanted to push them out of the border.

I guess the goal for the israel was:

1- to disarm hizbollah
2- to get back those two soldiers

They did not achieve none of these goals and came back to their occupied land shamefully.

 

This is true, but there is one thing everyone seem to forget, while Hezbulla was practically begging behind the scenes for the cease fire, Israel did not. If this war was to go on without international intervention you really think the hezbulla can hold off the Israeli army? Forget your bias, take a step back and think about it.

I am not bias friend.
But if the war would continue, I think that Syria would involved the war, then the Israel would be defeated and then USA would come to the battel and then Iran would come to the war, then England would be USA alies, then russia and china would be Iran's ally and then we were all be in the fire of WWIII .

You think the Syrian army is a match for Israel? Their weaponry was not updated since the early 70's. They were defeated numerous times (together with other neighboring armies). What makes you think they can stand against the Israeli army?

Good military unit is important in each damn war. But it is not everything, As you see Hezbollah (with nothing but a bunch of missles) stood against the Israel alone. kept the israeli army away??? How/When exactly did they do that? The Israeli army advanced exactly to the point it said it will, the Litani (I'm not sure about the spelling) river. The Hezbulla did not hold them off at any stage of the fighting.
