Has your income dropped significantly in January 2010

Has your income dropped this year?

My income has dropped like a rock.

I have similar number of click (200-380 a day) and similar visitor profile (search engines) to the months in 2009. But starting 2010, the amount per-click has become so ridiculously low.

Is it just me ? Or do you guys experience the same thing ?

 

Pretty similar - don't micro-analyse mate! We're barely half way through the month - just keep working and the income will get back.

 

The year has just started, you cant jump into conclusion yet. keep working!

I, too had the same problem beginning of the month. But this could be due to some high pr backlinks that I have recently added. CPC dropped by half. After removing these backlinks, cpc returned back to normal for the past week.

 

Things started to slow down for me in December and it's still not picked up although Ive not been spending too much time working on my sites.

 

My adsense revenue has increased, but that's due to me working on more sites and building up my existing ones. However, my income from affiliate marketing has plummeted

 

Revenue dropped off a little in the 1st week in january but has started to gather momentum again which is good news.Not sure if it was to do with people going back to school/work or to do with the Google changes.

 

Mine dropped a lot too, then I changed some keywords and it was 2x better than it used to be.

 

From the week before Christmas till now, the traffic flow still had not returned to normal, and Adsense earnings was bad.

 

My website's traffice dropped a lot. So my income dropped.

 

January 2010 is my best month ever.

 

January was fantastic for me. February has begun slow, though. But hey, it's still early, it's best to monitor your revenue over a prolonged period of time, and take an average.

yes! they pay very low for clicks! like 2 cents per click! that is so low

 

Yes its dropped, more asian traffic. USA/UK traffic has slowed down a fair bit over the last few months, i think its because school is coming back.
