Has this ever happened to you?

I have just checked my email, and I got a reply from someone who submitted a link to my directory. They were chasing up a rejection email that was sent automatically from my directory upon me rejecting the link.

Anyway, back on track, this person went on to request a refund for an alleged payment they had sent me (and they even supplied an email address). Now I am the kind of person that believes that a script can occasionally malfunction, so I went and checked my paypal to ensure that there hadn't been any sponsored links sold, and low and behold there wasn't.

I promptly replied to the person who emailed me, and provided them with the information on how to reverse a payment (just to cover any bases), and provided information on how to recieve information on how to get a detailed rejection response.

Has anyone else had people trying to get a refund from a payment that was never made for a rejected link? and do you think i made the correct response?

It happens frequently with people not keeping good track of their paid directory submissions. On rare occasions they are trying to scam you but most of the time it's just an error.
