... and what your strategies guys??

I'm still here, waiting for a miracle to happend for the last 4-5 days. I really don't know if I should work on the site and change things that worked for me for the last 2 years!! My site is (was) ranked #1 or 2 for almost 2 years and has become an authority site....

Maybe its time for long vacations!!

any of you has the same problem as me:
when using the site: command, I don't get the homepage ranked first, I can't even find it. It is still indexed though.
I want to figure out if this is a penalty or an update.

I hope and I believe it is just a glitch that will be fixed. I will have a better idea in the next crawling of my site.

One of my sites had around 1000 pages indexed and fell to 66 gradually over a period of weeks until I got back to normal a couple of days ago. Now 890 pages indexed again and I'm back in the serps as before.

about a day ago some 50% of my serps dropped totally out of G and all others are among top as before

hence it appears to me like a glitch or loss of db
(about 2 days ago G adsense server was down for several hours from this point of the world

    there is hope as usual

Yes but this is a different problem. yours was the indexing problem, but this is a new issue. Pages indexed but drop in serps.

So this isn't about the green bar? It's just about the SERPS right? I just want to be clear.

    Yep... just the SERPS!

No PR change, No indexed page changes (for me)...

The thing I see is that it happened just after this major bug with this site having 5 billion pages indexed in GG. (read more here: http://www.platinax.co.uk/news/19-06-2006/google-admits-bad-data-push-error/).

It looks like GG over-reacted and prefer to penalize thousands of websites instead of working on the real problems.

Yea same problem here with 3 of my sites, it looks like google is just making googlebot more strict to filter out the spam now we all have to suffer.
