Has The Holiday Surprised You?

Has the holiday season surprised you? Did you think you would do poor, when you had really nice clicks? or were you right on target with an anticipated low click rate?

I would say overall clicks are up for Christmas, I planned on it being much lower, but so far so good... how are you all doing?

Is there anything you did to prepare for the slower times of year?

Adsense did ok i did better selling certain electronics than i thought

Yeah, i'm surprised at how low traffic, clicks and ePC would be.. I knew it would be low, but not THIS low..

 

Traffic remains the same for me but my CTR and eCPM have dropped a lot

 

I thought I was still dreaming and not awake yet when I logged in and saw the numbers. Oh My Lanta!!!

Christmas has not been nice to me and my dogs this year!

 

A lot of advertisers paused their campaigns during the holidays (as I did) and that lowered the average CPC since the competition is less... normal for that time of the year...

With less then 200 visitators/day i'm making same money that's a big surprize ....

more visitors, better clicks in this short time. I'm afraid, that afterwards it will back to normal state.

 

contrary to what i had expected, it has been pretty low... i guess my visitors would rather celebrate with their families in the living room, than hanging on my websites, eh..

 

AdSense did really crappy today, but other revenue sources did just fine.

 

I earned a third of my usual earnings for the past 2 days. Other streams remained strong to counteract the fall.

 

Same here buddy. My traffic is down for the past two days. I hope it goes back up soon.
