He was right :) When you go by nation ... how about by regions within nations?

I was just joking Blogmaster. The suicide rates are nothing to be proud of. I guess it's so high here because of the crisis the collapse of the Soviet Union created. Certainly getting better over time. And to stay on topic: yes, suicide has crossed my mind one time, nothing serious though, a chain of events I didn't expect caused it..

Suicide is "WRONG" for what i can tell is seems that it's kind of like a domino effect in familys for instant if father(kills him self) than one of his children will most likely kill themself and so on. I also feel that ppl who kill them self have deep issues and heavy burdens on there shoulders--i have had alot of depression and phobias to deal with myself and often wonder why me!!!! But then i look around me and realize other ppl have it alot worst off than I and for me helping others is a way to get rid of alot of those bad feelings. I think everybody goes through depression but for a few of us it just cycles and there seems no way out....thats my 2cents.

nice site! Wondering why they've made the background black though. One would think that some uplifting colors would be better.

If it had better colors, it wouldn't appeal to its target audience.

You can almost see the ads for goth clubs and The Cure concerts on the left side of the screen.

Yeah, it depressed me. Or had that effect. But I guess when you're already down, it makes you feel like someone relates to you.

From what I've heard, you just kick your dog and he'll come to his senses.

Bad choice, if you dont care about yourself think about the people who care about you. They are the ones who are gonna have to deal with you being gone and ache until their life ends.

And if you think no one cares about you... thats bs most of the time there is at least someone who cares, be it your mom or your dad, even if they dont show it. Your wife, your ex wife, w/e someone will care.

For those few who dont have anyone caring about them then my way of thinking is invalid :p

I think part of the reason people commit suicide is that they believe that those who care about them really don't.

Nah I've never even thought about committing suicide. It's such a scary thing to do I don't think I would be able to do it even if I wanted to.

Suicide is generally an escape option for those who are unwilling to face their problems.

    Suicide is cowardice.

Or they want attention from those people.

That and they are cowards. Unwilling to earn that attention, unwilling to face conflict.

We're here to fight conflict darn it! Life is pointless without struggle and that is why suicide flies in the face of all it means to be human.
