Has SEO become really competitive?

I think SEO has become quite competitive these days thanks to more and more fresh Internet marketers beginning to use powerful SEO methods to drive quality traffic to their sites. The arena of keyword selection seems to be saturated as well. All primary and targeted keywords are slowly but surely becoming heavily competitive. How can Google's 1st page show all the web pages that contain the targeted keywords? Any way out please?

 

Realistically, reliable SEO companies in the world can be counted on your fingers. Sure there are many freelancers, many companies and on the top of that many spammers that will offer you "superb" SEO services for coins.

SEO is still the same, methods and basics are the same. Stick to basics and give enough time to get to the top, more important is to have short and long term SEO strategy.

 

SEO fundamentals are still the same, just the unfair practices as spamming and keyword stuffing among others are being nullified out by Google to increase the quality of search results. So just carry on your ethical work.

 

Google has made many new tools to control spamming. Now Seo has made became a very hard working method.

 

I think with the recent Google Panda and Penguin updates, many of the spamming sites has go down. And it is only good for the SEO. And since that is the case it has helped in promoting Whitehat SEO and discouraging others.

 

Keyword selecting is one of the main part of seo. If you have to choose any keyword first think that your selected keyword is unique and short meaningful. Then it will help to less your competitor.

 

Indeed, you can't beat all your competitors for each and every keyword, but if you invest your time and money in SEO, it definitely pays off in the end. When doing SEO on continuous basis, you see which keywords are worth focusing on and elaborate more on them. Go through on-page and off-page, check keyword ranking on continuous basis, analyze competitor's sites for the keywords they use and linking partnerships they established, discover new blogging and commenting opportunities etc. I mean, when you do SEO and get to know you niche from inside - sooner or later you'll come out with the strategy that works for you.

 

I don't think so. Because after the update Google Panda and Penguin SEO, Google splits SEO as a white tactic and black tactic. I think it's good move from the Google. It's a good technic to stop spamming. Only the ethical works wins and bad works goes down.
The matter is Quality SEO won and Quality workers won. There is no competitions between Quality SEO providers and others.

 

Yeabsolutely dude. SEO is gonna become very effective thing nowadays. On other hand, Google intensifies security means to reduce spamming and give best results to it's users through each and every update like panda, penguin and dinosauros (the last one that i mentioned abov is in some blogs).

 

Not competitive, but harder, because all the updates.

 

It shouldn't be competitive, if you been providing value. But, in general SEO is not a easy task, keep in mind its like a permanent market exposure, as long as your on top page. Which most people want, but arent willing to work for it.

The SEO is no doubt becoming more and more competitive. And I think it is normal because there are thousand of websites working on the same keywords. That is why the competition is also increasing...

 

Yes SEO become harder now but you can rank well on search engine by the help of quality link and content.

 

SEO has always been competitive. There will always be other companies/sites that will try to rank for the same keywords, so SEO is a constant effort to stay in the SERPs.

Yes, SEO is become tough now. Google is regularly updating its algorithm to avoid spamming. The fundamental of SEO still same. The only thing we have to follow is Google's guideline.

 

SEO and SMO became too competitive nowadays! Because, there are billions of website in the world and all are looking for top rank and they are starting to promote and optimize.According to me, Internet marketing is really tough to do right now! If you can make your website brand and go ahead for brand promotion then you can survive. I do have lots of projects and doing brand promotion for each and every brand website.

As we know Google is dominating us and we have to follow their every guidelines!

Yes, SEO is competitive, but new niches are always coming along!

 

I've had luck getting article/content sites ranked in Google but they were niche mini-sites and they eventually lost all their rankings. I don't know how anyone with a simple commerical website with no content could hope to hire someone to do SEO for them. But again, I'm new to this game so I'm interested to hear what other people have to say about it.
