I have just initiated a transfer request through Xoom for their maximum limit. It has gone through processing and will hopefully be transferred into my account in a couple of days. If it does work, I will be updating all of you guys who want to bring their funds down. In fact, I will do one better - I will also give you a free gift! Just let me complete the transaction - please await further news from me. I hope I can help all of you guys out. Will also include detailed instructions on how to complete the transaction including all calls and procedures.....

Xoom can not process payment for Business account holders. It is only for individuals.

yes it is really important to us because we can't hold a lot of money in PayPal until they resolve the issue where they don't have a specific timeline.

I don't know why they screw up Business accounts as well where they have problems with personal accounts only? Did you get it?

Yes, you are right. For business we have IE Code and also have current bank account with bank. We are also filing IT returns. There must not be any issue with Business Accounts.

Xoom and westernunion are only for personal payments. RBI does not permit commercial / business transfers through western union or XOOM so kindly check before you withdraw

It seems RBI had put restriction on Xoom also. So, currently Indian PayPal users can not use Bank account withdrawal and Xoom.
So, only Cheque and cc (Credit Card) withdrawal are now available for Indian PayPal users.
