LOL, whoever wrote that post is indeed moronic. not everything is hackable and paypal can't be hacked.
even it has been hacked.. it wouldn't be a big difference, as paypal automatically suspend/limit account that have weird activity
Some hackers tried DDoS attacks against PayPal, MasterCard and Visa sites. This made the sites offline for some time. But now they have recovered. Source : LA Times, Newspaper.
yes there were reports in CNN that wikileaks' supporters had attacked websites like Visa, MasterCard, paypal, Amazon and some other Swedish sites... Also when I accessed paypal in the morning it was unusually slow...
hahahaha yes all the above have been "hacked", DOS attacks to be precise, some people must sleep in a cave. Paypal is the only one that hasn't crashed or been denied service - obviously it's pretty freaking big and has a lot of servers, security and nerds to counteract the DOS attacks. You don't have nothing to worry about unless your name is Sarah Palin - it's no wonder people here make no money when they're half wits.
100% can't be true (I feel), "PayPal" is build by some humans and the Hackers are even humans. So I think there will be always a possibility. However I wish "PayPal" is hack-proof so my money is safe
Your money is safe , it takes so many days to withdraw that if someone hacks paypal , he cant withdraw it as paypal will find it out in that time.
Everything that a human mind can create at some point can be destroyed, too - the only question here would be ETA.
You ppl live in a fkn cave don't you? Have you not heard of Wikileaks, Anonymous? Avenge Assange? Operation Payback? Visa, Mastercard, Amazon, Sarah Palin & yes PAYPAL were all struck... Amazon and Paypal could not be effected to the extend of Denial of Service... but they were "hacked"... hacked is a broad word and doesn't mean all accounts have been ripped or accessed... DOS attacks are considered hacks. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/wor...ks-teenager-arrested-for-revenge-attacks.html
I think they can be hacked but they also have lots of security measures and people who can help them recover from attack so for a time they might be hacked but they can recover fast as it is .
And here's another article... Paypal API attacked - without the API it is believed Paypal can not accept payments... so yes Paypal is being a target of hacks : http://www.itproportal.com/2010/12/9/operation-payback-downs-visa-targets-paypal-api/
