Has PayPal Become Too Risky for Small Businesses?

Lately, I’ve seen more stories of PayPal freezing funds for months without clear explanation. For small businesses, that kind of delay can be devastating. Has anyone here experienced this? How do you manage the risk of relying on PayPal for most of your payments?

I personally have never had any negative issues with Paypal. But I do know individuals who claim that if you do it is next to impossible to talk to a human, and that you will always end up dealing with a progammed bot.

Yeah, that’s exactly what I’ve heard from a lot of people too. When everything runs smoothly, PayPal is great — fast, convenient, and widely accepted. But the moment something goes wrong, it can be really hard to get an actual person to resolve it. The automated system feels like it’s built more for filtering than for helping.

It’d be nice if they invested a bit more in human support for account or dispute issues, especially for small businesses that rely on PayPal as their main payment processor.
