Has our economy affected online businesses yet?

    Has yours?

If our economy keeps going at this rate, say the next 8-12 months from now, how will online businesses and advertising be affected?

Is it directly affected or only a little? I guess it will depend on whatever your site is geared toward (luxury, necessities, etc.)

Gimme your thoughts, share your stories.

You raised a very good question.

My guess is that seo and advertising will increase at least in the short term.

Hm at first I was thinking prices would be driven down but never thought of the other way around. Thanks for the input.

It's driven the cost of my goods up, fuel prices, the weakening dollar, etc.
Shipping costs are through the roof.

    'However'

When gas prices raise it actually appears to help the sale of some goods. People are willing to pay $6 for shipping, instead of paying that or more in fuel costs.
