Has my site gone to PR1 within a day? Cannot be right!

    Well, let me get this straight I dont think my domain has got to be PR1 within a day but here is the story!

    I bought a 1 year old expired domain and today put a wordpress blog on

    All of a sudden some PR checkers and my firefox toolbar are saying this is now a PR1. It was N/A earlier on today.

    The site is www.freeseoarticle.com

    Is this a genuine PR?

    I am not sure why this could be?

    I don't think your site is genuinely PR1, sometimes expired domains do weird things.

    That is what I thought..

    I have added it to around 150 directories today and done a little bit of SEO but I thought I was seeing things as usually it takes months.

    Hopefully it will stay like it but I have a feeling after a week or so it will be back down :(

    Well I've checked it using dnScoop.com and your site appears to be a valid PR1!

    However, this is more likely because it's previous owner had some strong backlinks and that's why you're getting now a PR1. You should work really hard to mantain your rank! Get some strong backlinks and everything should be OK.

    Yes its 1 dear .. its because you purchased a deleted domain ... try maintaining quality else you will loose it soon !!!

    More effort on that part you've got low backlinks as of the moment, checked it on submitexpress.

    well the wierd thing that when i checked the domain create date that what i got
    Created on: 15-Feb-07
    Expires on: 15-Feb-09

    so thats wierd it say the domain created in 2007 in feb so if u buy it after its expired i think the dns system didnt record that the domain experid and recreated first time i hear in that and congrats any way :d get me a magic domain like that one lol
