Has my site been sandboxed?

I built my site two weeks ago and the site is indexed in google (all the pages were indexed) however when I type the keyword that I optimised my website for in google my site shows up on page 3 (if I set google to show 100 results per page so that would be page 30 if it it's 10 results per page) but when I enter the keyword in quotes my website shows up on page 4.....

does this mean my site has been sandboxed?

competition is just over 10000 pages.... I would have expected a higher ranking, I did not spam the keyword and I used a lot of LSI words....

Don't worry about it much the position can usually fluctuate for few days. Just wait for few days. Another case would be if you try to get backlinks too fast, then there is chance of your site getting sandboxed.

That's not an issue, that usually occur when the positions are flunctuating.
