Has Mixed Martial Arts Knocked Out Boxing?

    With the popularity onslaught of Mixed Martial Arts, can boxing survive? Or is it out for the count? Sorry, that's all the cliches I can think of right now.

    I think boxing will survive as there are many folks above the age of 40 that are quite interested in it.

    Boxing can survive like Indy Car Racing survives along side NASCAR. Also it appears that boxing is still much bigger than MMA accoring to this boxing vs mma article. You need to challenge the claims of all the up and coming sports....except Lacrosse of course.
