Has it occurred to anyone...

Has it ever occurred to anyone that avoiding the Sandbox may not have to do with lack of links as much as lack of content? Has anyone tried launching a new domain with many, many pages of quality, unique content, without soliciting links and just letting them come naturally. I’m beginning to realize that incoming links, is only one method for ranking high in SE’s. And it’s the method most of us are forced into using because large amounts of totally unique content is rare. I think the SE’s have us fooled into thinking links is more important than it actually is. I predict that if you’re able to add enough UNIQUE content (and it must be totally unique) to your new or old website, you not only will avoid the “sandbox” (which is just a smoke screen anyway), but also rank in the same high positions as sites with many links. And once you do begin to add links (because they are indeed a factor in rankings, just not as important as G wants you to believe), not aggressively, but moderately and only with related sites, you will blow away your competition. I'm not saying incoming links don't work, I just saying they are only one factor that goes into it, and the idea that you can't rank high for competitive terms without duplicating the amount of links high ranking sites have is incorrect. Forget about all the hoops the SE’s WANT you to jump through, and get some unique content.

None of my sites ever avoided the sandbox. One was a product page which has 2,200 static pages upon start of unique content (all my fathers products so all descriptions, etc written by him) and only form of link building we would had, was we were signed up for AdWords. Would love to see some screenshots if you get it to work for you though =)

I took a jewelry catalog and put it online, all with unique descriptions and content (lots of unique items), and it is doing quite well.

What worldwid states has been the same for me, basically any new site I launch I can expect it to have absolutely pathetic rankings for around 4-6 months then take it from there.
