Has google updated recently ??

Hi Dps,

I need help of experts in DP forum. Please tell me When was google updated last time. As i can see the changes in my websites i can tell clearly that google has updated 4 times in last 5 months. I tried to find answer in other forums as well. But i dont know why people are sure about that google has not been updated from last 6 months.

Please make me clear on this issue. Cause i have got changes in my 15+ websites from Page Rank prespective.

Many are still in search of this answer.. However u have posted a thread in wrong section it seems ( i guess) ...

 

google update regularly.. they usually post it on their blogs.. but if its part of their algorithm they don't..

 

i feel like google has put alot less weight on links that are not in content (such as site wide nav). I've also noticed more ad placements at the top of pages in niches that were not as occupied before. (past 2 months)

 

The last major update was on April 3. However there are also small updates everytime. I also agree with the opinion that liks which are not in content have less weight. The most useful links today are natural links manually placed into appropriate text. If google thinks they're natural there will be no problem with them.

 

ye~ i feel that sth is changed in google, but it seems subtle. em... not really sure that. but:
My site, I found that my new articles are hardly been crawled and indexed by google(a month or more), even though i renew article every week.
An i also found that, i post many articles with backlinks onto the article sites(dofollow and most PR is 3 4 5)
i found that my articles(i mean content) on other dofollow article sites are been crawled quickly, but backlink(my site's new article links in the article) doesn't been catched and indexed by google.
So the point is: the dofollow links in article site seems been ignored by google!

 

No change in PR yet.. I've done some nice linkbuilding in the last 6 months, so there should be one

 

Wouldn't surprise me if article sites and blog comments are on their way to becoming as useless as link directories.

 

Google just updated their index two seconds ago.

Edit: Oops now they updated as I was writing the word "index".

Edit 2: They updated again before I wrote the word "updated." Yeah they update all the time

 

Yes, google updated recently.......last year. They have not updated PR in over 9 months.

 

I used to notice PR updates monthly. PR has not changed on any of my sites in the past 6 months at least.

 

I think will update in 31.Dec

 

I havent noticed any changes

 

I wonder what people would pay for the algorithm

If you find any changing of PR on your website, mean the google is updating the PR

When we talk about the pr then there is no change in Google pr from last 6 -7 months, but as far as we concerned about the Google updation, then it may exist in another way apart from the pr issue. We can find out the information about any changes happened in Google that is publically announced at the Google's official blog.

We can see that Google has changes the various thing and making his search more refine and more accurate, giving places to the real time results and for this there is a need to change his old algo, coz we know that the searches of the Google is performed by the softwares, so to get some more good stuff, it is a need to change the programme. I am feeling changes in Google regularly from last some months.

 

The last time I saw an update from G was in April 2010. Not sure about now but it seems that "NO"

 

i dont know because i dont know when Google update or cache their search result and i think nobody dont know exactly when google update
