Has Google Grown So Much It Can't Handle Its Search?

The reason we ask is their search results seem to be all over the shop.

Maybe their data centres are too small to handle the growth of the internet or something or other!

    What's the deal?

Nope, google can handle its search. The datacenters just need to all sync so they all show the same results.

I doubt Google is having monitary problems and if needed they could double their computing power without a dent in the pocket book. Something is brewing in Google, we have to wait it out.

The information is growing at a faster pace than Google has the capability to spider and index it, this has been said by Google itself. The rate exponential rate which online information grows makes it impossible for Google or any other entity for that matter to index all of it.

If you're talking about speed then I'd disagree. I've always been amazed at just how fast it is. For instance do a long phrase search to find a particular page and the result is there almost instantly, much quicker than a search on my local pc.
