My site http://www.prolongboards.com has been crawled by google, as it shown by http://216.239.51.104/search?q=cach...rds&hl=en&gl=uk&ct=clnk&cd=3&client=firefox-a However, my friend, with Google desktop, right clicks and it says that the site is not yet on Google's database! Which do you think is correct? And when do you think my site will be next crawled? cheers
Look in your web logs. Basically you are looking for Googlebot but see http://www.searchengineworld.com/spiders/ip_addresses/google.htm
Google may have crawled your site, but they have not indexed it: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&q=www.prolongboards.com&btnG=Search
Cheers for the help guys I have 2 questions When do you think my site will be indexed? and Do you think the homepage at least is fit for the keywords longboard, long board, professional long boards and long board skate boards UK? Thanks
Most websites are indexed after a few months (3-4 months) but if your website has links pointing to it from others websites that are indexed often (like digg.com and reddit.com) then your website should be indexed faster. Regards, M1chael
you can use cache:http://yoursite.com command on the google search engine box to check whether your site has been included or not. i hope it helps
