Has Google changed their rules?

I used to be ranked very high for certain search terms and as of the 19th my traffic has dropped in half and I don't even come up under my targeted words. I originally was #2 for popular phrases now not even in the top 3 pages, any ideas?

 

My site also was dropped to the last page of search results. Don't know what Google is doing

 

I hope someone can explain this here...

 

It is the same with my website. I have had over 5000 visitors through Google everyday but it has changed 3 days ago. I do not get any visitor from Google. I cannot find my website with my keywords and key phrases. I am sure I never done anything against Google TOS. I hope I can get my traffic back.

I hope someone has an answer for this problem.

same problem for my blog http://tomstricks.blogspot.com from this may1 to May 20.My traffic decrease from 2000 to 40 and no traffic from Google search.But after may20 traffic came from Google search because i submit my blog for reconsideration in Google webmasters at may4 and they review my blog and reconsidered.you can submit your site at Google webmasters for reconsideration.

 

I have a same problem.
I can't find my website with my keyword. however, it was top 3 last week.

Maybe there have too many inbound links of certain terms. Always changing search terms is a good method to avoid that.

 

Google is constantly tweaking its algorithm and rankings going up and down are the norm - but there is no substitute for good content and getting quality backlinks from relevant sites.

 

May be url lacking in promotion for your website in compare to your competitors...
Just build back links with proper anchor text with your targeted keyword... you will get results for that i am sure...

 

I see such a threads every day here on DigitalPoint. Looks like Google is testing and altering their algorithms. Give it some time, maybe you will get back your positions in a week or two. I feel lucky now because my sites are ranking well, no changes here.

if its new there are nothing.

Happening to us right now, trying to hold on cause it's still on lower part of the 1st page after being #3.

i think this all has happened because of improper selection of keywords and less offpage efforts. The same has happened with me also because i started using duplicate content!

Yes i experience the same thing, My site was on number three and from last couple of days it is not even in the first page.
