Its caffeine.. The new algorithm is rolling out to all the datacenters in a fast pace. I lost all the rankings, but they are now slowly gaining back.
I think something it's going on with Google ,I've seen some SERP movement at one of my site that seams pretty wired in morning i see my keywords on first page of Google and in the evening i see them in 3 page and this has been for more then 4 day now back and forth ,thing i never seeing before .
is there an official notification of above information? where do i find what infoseek likes so we can implement
Google will obviously implement new changes every now and then... And I am not surprised to see my websites dancing in the search engines.
Yes obviously google has changed Algorithm frequently.. No one knows when & on which basis google has changing the algorithm..
Its certain that something really big happening but no one is sure that what has changed... if some one knows it, please share it here so we can implement those changes on site and get our ranking back
It looks like they are pushing caffeine data to the data centers. Until they finish the results will be messed. 95% of my traffic has dropped off and 95% of my indexed pages are gone from Google's index.
I think they change it quite often and the sites moving up and down is quite regular in the Google index. I am seeing good improvements in my keyword positions. If it is permanent, Great!
No doubt, Google will change their Algorithm by the passage of time but basic things are same. Promote your website on regularly and updates your website content on weekly bases minimum. I think you got improvement in Ranking... All the best
I think we will come to know after this PR update, as Google might make it public about any changes in algorithms. But I have not experienced any changes yet.
Non sequitur! Google's algorithm determines rankings, not how many "hits" you get. By the way, "hit" does not mean "visit." There is talk at SEOmoz.org that Google rankings are beginning to be heavily influenced by social network activity. They don't say what the evidence is, but Rand Fishkin's ideas are usually based on something rather than nothing.
