Has Google been 'weird' lately?

Pages aren't being indexed, or crawled. Not to mention the fact that pages are mysteriously vanishing off of page one of Google search for specific keywords. Is it just me?

I don't know many times I am on page one right after I type up an article, and then I just fall off the charts.

Since August 2nd, none of my new articles have been indexed / crawled.

Is it just me, or have any of you guys had problems with Google also?

Nothing like that. I just changed my permalinks so its acting a little nuts.

 

probably google missed the site. but if that is the case submit your site to google again. or submit sitemap again.

 

me too ! my 6 month old PR3 blog is no more indexed by google .....

 

looks like I am not alone

Till a few days back the posts on my blog would be indexed by google wihtin a couple of hours of me posting it. However since the past couple of posts, I find that they have not been indexed. When i enter the title in my custom search box I find no result for them

It is a purely personal blog with no monetised content in it.
My Google Webmaster settings is enabled at Fast for indexing speed.

 

the cached page of my blog is showing the last post as 28 July
but google webmaster says it last indexed my site on 31 July
WTH is going wrong

 

I think google does that sometimes, give it some time and it should be fine, also check your script that could be the issue.

I believe google last crawled my site on the 1st of August.

Google just crawled my site July 31. I usually get my site indexed every week or two from Google

 

I have already signed up for webmaster tools.

Headshot - I am not talking about my index page. I am talking about deeper pages. Usually google gets them right away, but for some reason, my last 2 days worth of articles haven't been indexed.

 

Yes, I have also seen my sites going up and mostly down in google for the past 2 or 3 days. Not sure what is wrong with google

 

I had a couple of sites that vanished in google but after a week they reappeared...and it wasn't the first time this thing happened.

 

Alright. It must be a google issue. Hopefully things will soon be restored. Can I have links to your guys' sites?

 

google has deindexed MANY pages from its search so its not just you

for example, if you search lets say "Gamers Forum" now you will get roughly 1 million listings, if you have done that in January, you would have gotten 30 million or so listings

i mentioned that keyword because I worked to get my site ranked 1 for that keyword from 30 million a few months ago, it's still 1 but listings are just low

 

it has been 12 days since the last of my posts has been indexed

5 posts after that - none indexed

how long will this continue
