Has Google Become Too Big ??

With all those glitches and bugs it seems to have decreased my adsense earnings by 80% this month.

If google keeps it pay for performance then it should cut the share it takes from my earnings as I am not making faults on my side.

I agree that Google became so big that it can't handle all the data anymore. They are falsely penalizing/deindexing sites everyday.

I doubt they would be doing anything just because they are not able to handle the larger data size.

I feel, they are intentionally doing it to inflate their own profit margins...

What would you do if there were thousands of results of the same value for any given search? They are just making up things to eliminate some of them.

And this is only going to get worse. You can stop spam but you can't stop thousands of people creating great content for the same keyword.

Just look at this forum. You'll see lots of people being penalized everyday for nothing or for trivial things.

This kind of search should die, I mean crawling and indexing sites. Search digg or a similar thing if you want to find something. I would build such a search engine if I wasn't too lazy.

It should not be there but i can believe that they can cutdown the profit share margins to the publishers.

Google is very big, but look at the service they provide. There results are the best on the Internet, there new features I-Google, Google Chrome and GMail (just to name a few) are exceptional, and they are fair with there SERP rankings.

They seem to be doing well. I am they are coming out with new innovative products all the time. I really only see them getting bigger as time goes on.

Or maybe Google are going with bigger and better sites that bring in higher adsense clicks for them! This would make sound business sense would it not.

How many of your are offering Google anything new?

All companies come across bugs which they learn from and move on.

This is bussiness track. At the beginning, google need more publisher or they can not be so strong, so they offer very good benefit for the publisher. Nowaday you can see the adsense publisher is too many until google start to tighten up the approval. They dont mind to lose some of the publisher now, just as 1000 workers need the job, the lowest price with better quality will get the job.

well... my adsense revenue has also gone down... :( and i also agree that google is now very choosy about indexing and giving rankings... but no one can deny that no one can take google's place... its like universal truth :p
