Does anyone know if links contained within the body of an article on ezinearticles have always been no follow, or is this a recent development? I do notice the signature are follow. Guess I will start putting 2 links in the signature and none within the article...
As I know placing links in the article body is agains EzineArticles rules. The idea to place the links in the resource box may work for you.
I'm pretty sure you can put them in the body, but you can't have more than 2 links total, including the resource box.
ezine articles does not allow links on the body. HTML allowed are the following <b>BOLD</b> <strong>STRONG</strong> <i>ITALICS</i> <em>EMPHASIS</em> <u>UNDERLINE</u> <br> <pre> and </pre> <blockquote> <XMP> and </XMP> # <OL> and <UL> Not allowed <p> and </p> <JAVASCRIPT> in any form <IMG SRC> <H1>, <H2>, <H3> <HR> FONT SIZE changes or COLOR tags are NOT allowed.
Agreed, I just went back and edited a whole bunch of my articles to get the links into the resource box, instead of the article body.
link on the article body has always been nofollow. if you need dofollow links, then put the in the author bio/resource box
