I was considering getting a quality headset/mike and on of these "speech recognition" software to increase my writing speed. Any recommendations?
It's something I've been wondering about. My father got some of the earlier software a couple of years ago and went from being taciturn to sending out frequent and long emails. He certainly recommends it, but he's not a content writer.
Yes, I use it for when I write articles or papers for school. I have a mac and the mac version of speech recognition has worked fine for me.
I haven't tried using it before. Speech recognition programs tend to have a terrible time with my voice and accent, and I'd be a little wary of proper grammar/spelling/homonym issues. Still, I might test it out sometime on my friend's computer, since I know she's getting it installed.
i am yet to try this software but the size is huge, can anyone tell me any other software, which is similar to dragon naturally speaking software. it would be helpful for me
