What an absolute load of nonsense! AOL search results come from Google. A DMOZ listing has NOTHING to do with it!
One of my friends is 5 years old editor to dmoz, and is still active , it seams they removed all inactive editors only, also removed all death links from DMOZ.
Funny you said that. Your forum has an entire subcategory dedicated to it. If you remove this subcategory you will kill the DMOZ's last chance for exposure.
Could you please only one help me, what is the procedure to list a website in to DMOZ directory ? I would like to list my Retail POS Software website Gofrugal in to DMOZ directory , please tell me which category is perfect match for my website ?
I havent looked at the site, but if as you say it is retail / point of sale then http://www.dmoz.org/Computers/Software/Accounting/Point_of_Sale/ seems logical.
