Forum signature will helps you in your site traffic.

 

I think it helps in the area of traffic to my site, but I am not sure if it help to in area of SERPs

 

ok, my seniour expert, install dofollow/nofollow mod for firefox and then try.

and also try to find backlinks with any backlink checker tool. you can check that you not have any backlinks from dp signature.

It's not all about getting links from any source such as forum signatures.. it is much better to get a thematic link for your site than creating loads of links from forum posts in my opinion. I believe this will be more beneficial for the SERPs

 

I don't get much traffic from the DP and also not getting back link from the DP. But I am happy with the DP members who is shared his knowledge with all of us. Thanks to all members

 

but why google index the dp link so slow?

 

DP links have definitely helped my sites in terms of traffic and to a lesser extend SERPs performance.

It might help extremely slightly but nothing to talk about for 2 pages. I could remove my signature today and it would make no difference to my sites rankings. They would still remain the same.

 

I noticed the same thing until I checked source. I think if they went nofollow it wouldn't benefit them at all and would slow down the commenting process. There are a few other seo forums I used to comment on, they went nofollow and I now don't bother posting, actually I don't even read it anymore.

 

I wouldn't use DP as a way to get a backlink, especially from a sig. I'm sure Google has wisened up about some of the shady stuff that goes on at DP, I would hate to direct connect myself to that!

 

Hmmm, reading these posts I'm a little confused, some people love the linkage from here, others think google penalizes it?

 

LOL! I was going to mention that also. if they were nofollow links why would we bother? As far as if they help, they used to but lately I'm not seeing them in my backlinks so somethings changed...

 

I'm using firefox with that plugin and see all sigs are dofollow links... although they don't say dofollow but they are definately not nofollow. Also, without the plugin, just look at the page source.

 

The DP forum signatures does help in driving traffic and giving you a little PR.

 

Since goggle has started devaluating the Forum links (Easily Spamable), DP signature links is no longer has its previous demand.
