dhoni has still to prove himself as captain i actually think that ganguly is the greatest captain india ever had and he will be best for the years to come. keeping in mind that during ganguly time india haven't had a good bowling attack as it has now
Dhoni might be good captain but not the best. But if he won the world cup once for India under his captaincy he may be considered as best captain of India.
It doesnt mean that If you win the world cup then you are the best captain, its counts how consistent you are on winning side. India is at #1 in test and ODI now.
He is the most intelligent captain thats why he not looses any test match series ever.But now a days his own form are not so good.But every one new he come back in form as well as possible.
