Dear all, I had a new website and would like to do some link building, including link exchange. Has anyone used VoltRank.com? I read an article regarding the services they provide(http://smallbusiness-plan.net/voltrank-link-exchange-review/). Not sure if it works. I had a little doubt. They have decent traffice according to Alexa. But the homepage PR is 0. This is odd. They can build links for other sites. Why their own PR is 0? Any thoughts?
I personally didn't used that site. My friend used that site, he didn't get any results. So i am far from that site. Many sites are providing alexa improving. Maybe he used that service to improve his rank in alexa.
Thanks a lot, zelgly2. I will keep away from this site. You might be right they are using something to boost their alexa ranking.
try to directly contact the owner of a site you wish to exchange links with using these LE sites are of no use!
I can vouch for Voltrank. It actually works like charm. I have used them before and continue to use them now.
I would stay clear of these sites. Most of them from my research show you get stale links. Chances are you will be flagged by Google, they dont seem to like "artifical" linking. Try going to Google's Webmaster tools or go through www.prweb.com. Those are some of the things I have done to build up traffic and some backlinks and have had great resualts.-a_rift_in_time www.ariftintime.com- "To live in the past is to die in the present" From Riven
I tried voltrank I gave links from Pr 2 sites but I only got backlinks from Pr 0 sites, that's why I gave up
First at all, don't even believe on Alexa ranking, people can simply boost the ranking Second, if you want link exchange, dont go for two way link exchange, try to make it in three way or more
Thanks for everyone's input. I am thinking of using Voltrank..will give them a try and see how it works out.
Hi K01, did you see any improvements using voltrank. I used it on some sites and did get some results but I am not sure about the exchange rate. I had a site with over 1200 index pages and had a block with 7 ads on every page. I got only 1800 volts in return which resulted in 50 ads I could place. So for offering voltrank to place 1200 * 7 ads on my site I only got 50 in return..... Is this the same with you?
Well, I would say stay away from any link exchange scheme and it is old techniques that work prior 2008. What works now is to build quality one way links like context links so that Google will pick up the contents and index them. I hope that helps.
