I'm not sure how to word this but here's the background: I download apps onto my phone and as a result, I sometimes get "push advertisements" on my screen. They appear in a text notification setting. If I find the preview interesting I click on it to see more however, in all honesty I would say that 9 times out of 10, I don't bother clicking it. Has anyone used this form of advertising? Are there any providers worth looking into? What are the costs involved? Do you get in touch with the app provider? It seems like a legit way for the app providers to create an extra stream of income but how would it benefit me? I'm very interested in this Push option but it's a fairly new concept for me.
