Hello, I have been experimenting for the last week with google PPC. I have experimented using the display network in my ads and for short periods it seems to get ok click through but then for other periods it seems like no one clicks through the ads. I have good keyword choices and for keyword searches my ads are targeted damn well. I am starting to become skeptical about the effectiveness of the google display network and I was hoping someone else could shed some light on whether they have made it work for them. Thanks.
Hi OP. Sorry I'm not writing to give advice or solve your problem. This is a "me too" reply. I guess I've got a similar though not exactly the same prob. I get fantastic results from the google search and the search partners network. Alas, I can't get my ads to show up on the display network. Don't know what I'm doing wrong. On the search side I get a couple of hundred clicks per day at about 0.07 per click. Though I can probably try to improve, I'd really rather start getting my ads on the Display Network so I can compare traffic and profitability. But I can't even get an impression. All of my campaigns/adgroups are selected to run on all networks. So that isn't the answer. I've tried increasing my bid amounts for the ads on the Display Network. I've been in this boat for months. I can't figure it out. I've now decided to try hunting around on some forums to see if I can come across anybody who has had this exact issue and maybe somebody has posted a reply with the "oh s--t" easy answer I must be looking for.
