    Hey guys,
I am about to be accepted in this merchant processor program, but I have a strange feeling.

I now need to send $1000 to be activated, and the problem is that I dont really still trust the site.

Can someone provide any info about the merchant so I know for sure.

p.s. I did a whois and it was WhoisGuard protected, which is kinda strange IMO.

    cheers,
    Nik

Looks strange to me, however maybe they are legit. But I do not understand why they hide the information of their payment gateway.

They say it is PCIS compliant which should be PCI (surely a typo) but it most payment service providers which maintain their own gateway and have a nice control panel etc. won’t hide it, they would advertise it and show how brilliant it is. For me it looks more like a reseller than anything else.

Do you get your own account or is it a 3party solution? Have you signed a contract directly with globaleuropay.com or is it with a bank, or do they not require any contract?

And you are right if they hide their who is information it should at least pull up a small red light.

I was requested a bunch of documents, including utility bills etc...which I provided.

The person I am communicating represents himself as "Terry C"..from his signature.

I searched the internet and found number of people that were scammed by a person whose name is "Terry Cattermole" that used to operate from a number of other "merchant providers" that are mostly closed now.

I found a link on this board, where couple of people discuss how this person tricked them to pay a setup fee in the amount of $1,100 and then disappeared.

    http://www.webhostingtalk.com/archive/index.php/t-580395.html

As I found out from one of the shown email communication on the board above, this is the same person.

Now what's the chance of those people to be just unhappy customers. We all know that merchant accounts are not that easy to get, and it depends on many objective factors.

    Any advises or Ideas?

    Thanks!
    Nik
