The site and demo seem legit although I did notice that it state that they will pay you "up to" $4500/month.

Might be worth looking into it further.

It's obviously a scam, no one would pay you that for a few ads on your blog, unless it was REALLY good.

Here's what they sent me --- notice that this is nearly the same offer as the guy with the blog, but my traffic is top 100,000. Hmmmmmmmmmmm....... I would think that the hope of getting $4,500 a month is a bit far fetched even for my traffic. Perhaps after the affiliate pyramid builds up for a year or so -- but not the first few months - no way.

I couldn't help but remember what they say about being the quickest growing thing since Google AdWords, but if what they claim about returns is true they'd also have no problem claiming to also be a bigger revenue for your traffic than AdSense ads (even if they were plastered all over all of your pages).

What we DO know is that they send the same email to a site that has top 100,000 ranking and one that is top 1,000,000. Both can't possibly earn up to $4,800 realistically.

I also felt that something like this would drive my repeat visitors away... they get to the website and BAM! [ "Burger King - has an amazing grilled... " - CLOSE! ].

The real problem with their email is that the likely earnings will probably be closer to $3.50 than $4,800.

I exchanged emails with whomever sent me the initial emailing -- and after a couple questions I admitted to him that I was still interested, yet very skeptical. At this point - he "CLAIMED" to just get an email from corporate that said that the offer will be over soon. I told him that I certainly tend to conclude that there is something hidden - when somebody is rushing you when trying to sell you something.

I asked for examples, yet even though the program started on Feb 1, there was no example or data to give me -- and I would be a potentially large client.

These audio ads are not for me.

    They say on their site
    contactthem.com/affiliateprogram.php
that even if you remove their links after the first month they still pay you that $4800/month
but if you keep the links for a second month the money doubles if you keep them for 3 months
the money triples and so on ....

that is way too much money if you ask me ... I can't imagine that being legit unless they will be putting
480 links on your site and then 960 for the second month or in other words create a link farm of your
    website ...

Any more thoughts ? anyone used it ?

    SCAM Scam Scam!
Got the same email also today

Did take a look at the link and if you scroll down right to the bottom it clearly states in its disclaimer that you are pretty much not paid for placing the link on the site, you are not paid per click but are paid per sale if a sale occurs!!! which inturn if you get enough sales you will get upto $4800

This is no better than going to clixgalore.com.au or commission junction and signing up to a merchant program and putting a banner on your website! Honestly IMO I think you would make more commission off google adwords than you would promoting this guys stuff.

I did a quick research on google and msn and typed in contactthem.com scam and quickly saw other peoples views on this

The description (from the money maker group forum) says not only do you put up banners
but you also get your friends to sign up and you run spam software to contact webmasters. (Basically typical MLM)

You make the residual earnings from the money spent to buy the software or other products,

It still seems like a scam to me - but makes a bit more sense.

Many of us won't run spam software :)
