Has anyone used an online sitebuilder for you or your business...eg Moonfruit, Squarespace etc.?

I have just launched a dedicated site, http://www.bestfreewebsitebuilder.com, to give feedback on your experience of online and WYSIWYG sitebuilders.

If you’ve ever used one, please give other people the lowdown below the review to help them decide!

    Reagrds,

    Mike

most of these online web-builder and host operators tend to target the beginners or newbies with the aim to lock them in with them on a monthly recurring fee. Most eventually revealed their ugly side when the client wants to leave thme and asked for a backup copy of their sites, which was rejected with all kinds of excuses. Most of these operators used a system that makes it so difficult for users to retrieve their sites.
If you are not like these, then there is potential but nowadays, sites are cheap and most just too lazy to create their own sites.

Above based on one of my client's experience.
