Just came across adcore when searching for "adwords software" and thought it was interested. Apprently you can build campaigns using XML feeds (good because i have an ecommerce site with magento). But I wanted to know if anyone has used their optimization tools? What do you guys think of using adwords optimization within their system, as opposed to a 3rd party tool like adcore? link: go.adcore.com
I never recommend someone using tools like this. There are many out there and most call it "bid management". Adcore doesn't but it obviously is bid management software, they just call it automation. So what's wrong with bid management software? It doesn't address the real underlying issue of what makes and improves a campaign which is, ad creatives not to mention keyword research. Software is not going to create and test new ads. Only a human can understand other humans and be creative. All these things do is adjust your bids, that's it. That's why they are called bid management. With the same ads all the time. That does nothing to improve your campaign, improve your QS and actually reduce your spend and truly improve your ROI. They even spell it out themselves: Set & Forget. PPC is not something that you should set and forget. Indeed, any advertising of any kind. That's why you see different McDonalds ads every week. My suggestion is find someone who will truly manage your campaigns, not simply adjust bids. With the right manager, you'll be much better off.
