Has anyone used 'acquirethisdomain(.)com' before? Im looking at purchasing a domain through them, but was wondering how professional/reliable are they to deal with? thanks.
acquirethisdomain or acquirethisname? If its acquirethisname, then I wouldn't bother. I tried to purchase a domain through them one time, Offered them what I thought was a fair price (and still do). They countered with a price 100 times higher than what I offered, which was an unrealistic joke. (I read some court docs that said they had also tried to do the same to a law firm who tried to acquire their law firms "trademarked" name through them. The law firm dragged them through court and did not have to pay the 50k extortion asking price ) If its "acquirethisdomain" then I can't say... looks like their sites new, seems to be only a blog. Are they professional? lol. This is what their About page says, just before the affiliate sign up form... Looks about as unprofessional as you can get. Cheers James
