Has anyone tryed buying expire domain traffic? If so how was your result? I have found a website that will sell 5000 expire domain traffic for $35, its targeted too.

    Thanks for your feedback.

If the websites that you're displaying your ad on are targetted to your market I see no reason why it shouldn't work.

Could you post the site that claimed to do so?

I am also intersted in this too. For example visit www.essay.com It contains sites that write essays for money. If something similar it may be beneficial.

I used Unique-Traffic.com, I talked to the live chat dude he was friendly. My emails got responded to quickly also. I received all of the purchased traffic too and checked out my alexa and I have been boosted. I recommend it too.

Yes, I recommend it also, I use it a lot when I get funding to bring in traffic. Titan is right, it boosted my alexa also. Althought the counter didn't register 10K when I ordered but the sales said it's due to the counter's accuracy. It looks like it's true, counters won't record every hit when there's too much traffic comming in ( As counters serve a lot of pages at the same time ). But anyways, I'm a regular client of them when I get the paycheck from where I work. I've heard stories of sites that used unique traffic but have made no sales and others that had success.

My guess is that it all depends on the content, and mine is interesting lol. :p

Is is Ok to use it with adsense? Or is it against the TOS.

If it works similar to the site I mentioned earlier ie www.essay.com (no aff) i think we should even get a decent CTR.

I've always thought of buying traffic as too good to be true. You would need to show me evidence of it leading to anything for me to even consider it. TimeIsMoney could you show me your conversion stats, etc? If you don't mind of course.

I bought 2 lots of 10,000 visitors (i forget where from) using the expired-domain traffic method in the middle of last year. It was also claimed to be targeted traffic. All i achieved was a slight (temporary) boost to my Alexa ranking - not a single extra signup that i know of came from it, after viewing the stats they gave me.

I considered it wasted money at the time - alexa is about as useful as...well it just holds down no useful purpose beyond vague (skewed) popularity stats. I could artifically boost my alexa ranking into the top 10k if i wanted to, it's not going to help me in any way.

I got adsense on my forums and sites, they allow it.

Yea , I thought it to be too good to be true too, but when I bought it, it didn't work. I talked to them and they gave me tips to convert and it helped. They said in brief a lot of newb webmasters submit thinking that it will convert with a html 101 design but it doesn't because the website is ugly. - in my own terms lol.

Proof hhuh? well i took a pic of my forums, that i started less than 2 months ago, after buying a lot of traffic for it i got a steady flow of visitors( about 60-100 uniques a day )

About 3-4 sign ups per day, some days are dead, others are well alive.

    Here's a pic, that's the best I can do.

OH doh! I forgot: UT's traffic is not only expired domains, it's also content oriented sites.

Also, I've tried other services and they all suck: blazingtraffic.com , qualitytrafficsupply and definitetraffic , be aware of those scams. I was advised that they use clicksurfs and hitbots.

I notice your signature mentions the fact that you use unique-visitors.com

Are you affiliated with them or do you own them? Still going to try it, I am just curious why you are promoting it in your signature?

Lol great, so now I'm an owner of unique traffic... It's there because this is an idea sharing forum. The story behind it is because I went to web hosting mall to find a cheap host, so I found webhost titan. I started out with their little 2.95$ package plan and upgraded it to more domains. I find it surprisingly inexpensive, and so I kinda liked webhost titan and I wanted to recommend it to others here. I got a monthly newsletter from webhost titan and they recommended their partner's service named unique traffic. I was sceptic, but I gave it a try, and it worked for me. I came across this forum and saw that people shared their success links in here, so I did that also. Plus , does that look like an affiliate link to you lol? If it worked for me, why would I hide it in an idea sharing forum? This forum is full of sceptics lol.

As you can see my sig recommends a source of traffic, a source of cheap hosting and a source of forum placement, all great tools for the webmaster like myself. I don't use my sig to promote like most of the posters in here, I use it to help visitors out to gain some experiance points. Not looking to make a buck off the people that help me out.

I know checksum, I'm just defending myself before someone gives me a promoter reputation in here. I saw this thread and I saw the coincidence that someone was talking about the same thing I used so I jumped in to comment. I'm not mad, just explaining myself to that sceptic guy. After all, don't stingrays defend themselves naturally too?

I think I am going to use this service, to help build a commuity, but I am going to pull all adsense first. A note of caution this site sends its traffic using popunders and I think (i don't know for sure) it is against tos to have adsense on pages that are visited via popup/unders.
