Has anyone tried this reverse image search engine?

    A friend emailed me this reverse image search engine the other day and I'm quite impressed with it's capabilities. All you need to do is upload an image and it craws it's index seeking a near match and presents it and the url location of it from the web. It's in beta and has about a billion images or so in it's index :eek:

    Here's what the site has to say about it's image to image search technology;

    Metrics:
    PR:6
    Alexa: 19,359

    Feel free to share your thoughts,

    Great....

    This could be a useful tool for those who work with images.

    It even detects images that are slightly modified.....I never thought a software could do anything like that.

    Wow this is a great find, I have been looking for a search engine that could do this. I was expecting Google to come out with something first but it looks like they got beat to the punch, I beat they end up "acquiring' this site.

    This really does have a ton of possibilities though, I am going to try it out to see if I can pick out what websites are stealing my images haha

    Yeah I though google would of done this as well :D, It's a
    great concept. I've been searching with this
    image:
    [IMG]
    to outsource some material for an up and coming website I'm
    developing. It's a shame that I can't add keyword text with
    the images that would speed up the search, though they may
    allow this in the future (here's hoping! ;))
