Has anyone tried "OOZM.COM"?

I most certainly haven't - and I am NOT trying to advertise this concept.

Merely considering the potential value - or lack there off - of having a "keyword"-page that is basically a single page on their domain for a hundred bucks a year (to start with).

Sounds like having these pages is not such a great idea, while the concept of selling them like "Oozm.com" does could probably be a rather lucrative business.

    • Have you tried it?
    • Do you have an opinion on this subject?
    • Do you (mistakenly) believe that I'm only here to market a new business concept?

Whether the service is good or not, the site's design has a real "i'm not safe to do business with" feel. It's like I don't even care what's on the site -- the site is prehistoric.

Companies like this could easily quadruple their street cred simply by having a better look. I'm sure a lot of people like them would take them a lot more seriously.

I agree with Chris. The site design could be improved. I have tried the site and it seems to be a bit complicated than what I believed before. It seems to support search results plus content on that one page.

However, I believe the these guys are trying to do something different that may benefit us. Recently Yahoo's own report said that 50% of the searches by people fails. People don't find information that they are looking for. They mostly end up at some sites where they need to pay to buy those information. So I think while search engines compete to bring relevant results to the top, this concept maybe an alternative.

Investing in those pages are up to you but jumping on these sort of small ventures is what made me rich. Some do take off when it is different than traditional stuff.

Looks like the site just went through a total redesign. Looks great with AJAX technology and dynamic contents. Much much better than what they had before.

I found the site when I came to this forum a while back through this post. I did get in touch with oozm people and have provided my feedback. They did use some of it for their redesign. To answer your question, no I don't own this site. I've tried to by making an offer for the code! Didn't work.
