LinksJunk is the best automatic link exchange service around. You'll not find something more professional.
I used gotlinks.com for a couple of years. Most people these days believe that Google, if not the other search engines, really dilute or remove any link love from those types of set ups. I didn't notice any drop when I canceled them. I would look at textlink blog links. much more natural.
Wrong, even gotlinks works if you use it properly. Gotlinks can actually hurt your rankings because it is an unprofessional service. But LinksJunk is built on quality and for quality.
The last time I checked gotlinks out they placed their yahoo pub ads on all the peoples sites who used there service, even the paid I think.
Good input on this one. Heard a lot of bad about link farms lately. Would like to know about linkjunk.com ? Anyone not advertising for them have any input? (good/bad/indeferent)
i use them - iry them when i have site that listed in google - in only 2 pages ' now i dont give any links in - only whaat gotlinks give, untill now' the site list only 2 pages (i have in the site 30 pages') but on google i see only 2 pages. i wait.
I don't know for sure . . . except to say I run GotLinks on 18 of my web sites. I went into their control panel recently after I started accepting and sending out link requests. I cross-referenced alot of sites where I have been notified of updates where sites now link to certain sites of mine. Going to those URLs and navigating to their links page I do in fact verify many reciprocal links. So basically, it looks like it is a feasable program and legit. Now the next question that comes into play is the "link farm" issue. If you'll notice, their configuration is set up, so that subscribers like myself & anyone else using them accepts, or requests links, gets them categorized. In essence, their web link partner's page is categorized and those who accept one another's appropriate links, all fall into those respective categories . . . so that part looks copacetic to me. The other issue is whether or not G. will penalize you. Well, I think they are more involved these days in prioritizing (building new software and building new partnerships and doing R&D) and haven't the time to go "backwards" and try to dissect the internet. They've established themselves well enough and are expanding into too many other areas....
Overseas mentioned spending $1000 per monh on Gotlinks but this is a free program to join up. Was glad to hear somebody else is having positivity with GL . . . basically just cross-reference those places that acknowledge your link when you send out a request and you'll actually see your site linked in the appropriate category on their "link partners" page. So all I can say is I find them legit.......
Take a look at Link-Exchangers.com and get paid $10 everytime someone registers as a result of requesting a link through your link directory. Does it get any better than this?
For those of us in cahoots with Gotlinks.com, will it bother the status-quo if a user also has a link to L-E on the same links page?
well that's what I'm wondering - - - will this cause trouble with the search bots / spidering / indexing if two link programs lik Gotlinks and Link Exchangers are running on the same page?
Reviving this old thread again. I have multiple sites with gotlinks and I am not at all convinced it is doing any good at all. Very interesting article here http://www.seobook.com/archives/001373.shtml Any thoughts?
Hi my5869 - VERY ironic you revived this thread today....and thank you for the article link. I say ironic, since I just had a "free trial" subscription expire to: http://www.textlinks.com/promo.php?aff=1415 (as of today Jan. 16 2010) and I see this original thread was very old. What are your thoughts on textlinks site? I just tried the free trial, but truth-be-told, never had much time to play around with it as I was doing other stuff. Maybe I could retry the trial again, with another email etc. Thanks for being a phoenix . . . .
I have used receive links for almost 4 years now and highly recommend it. Go read their FAQ to learn more here: http://www.receivelinks.com/faq.php
Is it really a decent way to build up some inbound links, or will it just get your site banned from Goog? I saw you that were about to jump into the water with sharks in it and decided to ask you if that's really what you wanted to do. Is that what you wanted to do? Try pointing over 4,000 links, which they claim to have but don't, to your site for about 3-4 months and then quit paying for their service and see what happens to your website. There's so many link farms like this around that will get your website banned for good. For those of you that are already using this service, you will pay the price dearly when you stop subscribing to their service. Well, if you got a cheap, cheesy, spammy website, it wouldn't matter anyway. Good luck and I hope this helps.
