    I used google page prior to it becoming google site and the one little page I created brings me tons of traffic to my main sites. I'm not a big believer in the accuracy of alexra, but interesting that the alexra ranking is like 401 or something like that.

    You can't earn from it :) Those pages has no follow link, so I don't think it is good for ranking. Anyway, If use properly, it can be used to bring visitors to your main site.

    I have google pages set up. When I logged in tonight, they said I had to use a gmail account. I have not logged in for a while... :)

    They also said they were not accepting new signups on the google pages.

    I did not see the info about google "sites" during this visit. Thanks for info! No opinion yet. well kept secret? :p

    Google page was the first and as google services progressed they called it google sites. If you went to google page, they will tell you that google sites is now the preferred method and you can't use google page.

    The links on google page are nofollow for backlinks, but if the page is getting tons of traffic and someone clicks on the links on the page for your main sites, you are going to get traffic.

    Those of us who did use google page when it existed and published a page, your page still exists
