Has anyone tried CJ as an advertiser?

I use cj as an affiliate program but have been considering using them as an advertiser. I'm looking for some feedback.

Do they really wait until you make money before they charge you anything?

    Do they charge for impressions?

How much of a cut do they want?

Any other info would be very helpful.
    Thanks!

    That is incorrect.

    No, they do not.

Things have changed, but there is a startup fee ($5k?), a monthly minimum in fees ($500?), a yearly network fee, and fees for other value added services. Their standard cut is 30% on top of commissions.

5,000 to get started is way too high for me. They said they don't charge unless you make money, 5k is charging.

I guess I'll have to stick to bum marketing.

If that's something that they told you, then it may be true. My numbers posted above were slightly off - here's posted pricing from 2 years ago - http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=395974&highlight=access+pricing . Again, things have probably changed, so talk to CJ before deciding anything. Also, working with an agency who has a relationship with CJ could get you lower fees (but you're also paying your agency, then).
