    Guys if any of you have read Shakespeare's Hamlet, I have to answer one of these questions for an assignment for school. I have 2 hours to hand it in, and have not read the book.

    Any information you can shed on any one of these questions would be greatly appreciated. I hope you can:

    1. Did Gertrude sin? Discuss her behaviour and its effect on herself, her family, the court and the state of Denmark.
    2. Discuss the portrayal and relationships of fathers and sons in the play.
    3. Compare/contrast Hamlet, Laertes and Fortinbras as avengers in the play. To what extent do they succeed/fail in their roles?
    4. Ambition can be a great quality; however, having too much ambition can lead to one’s downfall. With reference to any 3 characters in the play, show that the above statement is true.

    Hahaha, I read it some years ago and I can't even answer one question. The only thing I can tell you is that claudius was too greedy for his own good.
