I am not sure if this has been discussed but I could not find anything here in DP.

The content from the forum shows details about the posts / Authors and last post time in Google SERPs



I just noticed it when somebody on my forum posted this.

Does this mean Google gives more weightage to user generated content like forums

 

Oh, That's news for me.
Google seems to become smarter by day day and tries to understand what is the content about.

 

Didn't noticed that one, looks new attribute like this one:

 

yes Google did start showing specific forum data liek posts etc and blog date and time a couple of months ago

 

I noticed that google pay attention to forum posts, but I didn't pay attention to that fact, as I didn't know its importance it was about 2 months ago

 

For so many search terms I use, I see different forums in SERPs. Often I get what I am looking for.

 

I wasnt aware of this. Is there any info in Google blog or somewhere? I mean: official google info.
