Has anyone noticed the changes in Google Result Pages ????

Hey guys,

Has anyone noticed the changes in the google result pages with the url formats been changed for the listed sites ?

Kw : "seo"

Earlier : http://www.seochat.com/


Now : http://www.google.com/url?sa=U&start=1&q=http://www.seochat.com/&e=9797

This is a bit similar to MSN formats now - does anyone know why this change has been brought about ?

I don't see any change, the first result is seochat and the link is direct. Mabe is different on other datacenters.

Google have been doing this since at least 2001, for very brief periods and only on selected DCs. They are just sampling a small percentage of clickthroughs for quality control purposes.

start=[position in serps] q=[target url] e=[I don't know but it seems constant, maybe it's a sector category]

Google's had major changes on June 27 and July 27 that have totally churned up search results. Many really good content sites like my EnvironmentalChemistry.com were severely punished by these updates.

 

Boy am i not looking forward to August 27 then again maybe all my sites that got screwed in July will come back

 

nice thought, hasn't happened to me from June 27th yet though...

 

After 27th july we have seen many changed in our ranking. Still it has not stabled . I have seen for some of Indian keyword's

 

The update has done good for me though !!

 

That is exactly the case here. They do that every so often.
