This is exactly Google does to my site. More specifically, the more I optimize, the more harm they do to the earnings. I feel like i'm punished over all my good works.
Yesterday, i earned around 59$ which is highest i've earned per day so far although i moved to a better server maybe that's why.. Saad
I had another dip. I was gettin an average of 5.00 a day then it jumped to 14.00 one day and now its .90 thats for 104 clicks...... and its been around there for the last week.
Lots of people seem to be claiming it's lower and walking away. The only reason it would be lower if sites haven't changed is if advertisers are walking away. And I may just walk away from it too! kumiko xo
My CPC is lowered by 75%. Also shockingly the CTR also got reduced. I can see lots of irrelevent ads now.. Google please.. What the hell are you doin.
Well my sites are in the travel area which is traditionally strong in January, so I haven't noticed a dip - in fact I am on course for being 50% up in adsense income on December (still only $xx for the month tho )
12 sites with lots of traffic and i noticed a dip too ... i think it normal for january ... if i had a product store id pay less for advertising in january .. my wife is also an ebay powerseller and noticed a drop in sales .. so im not panicing at least for now ....
I had my best day in two months with AdSense yesterday. I am on an upswing this month and should easily pass December's income which happened to be my worst performing month in 40 months of AdSense use.
My earnings have been back up to where they normally are. I think what's added to that is the fact that my newest blog makes $2+/day due to its outstanding keywords. Let's hope this upward trend continues, ladies and gents!
I think the cpc is a tad lower than January, but there is time for improvement to take place. I have always found the last few days of a month are pretty good. I know this goes against the thoery that advertisers run out of their budgets toward the end of the month so earnings are supposed to take a dip.
I had noticed a drop off over the holidays. Normally I get $XXX per day but I went 23 days in a row under $XXX. I rearanged my ads and I was quickly back to solid $XXX. I don't know if it's the change in positioning (I used Google's recommendations) or if it's just change. Perhaps just changing things up once in a while will bring new life. Oh, and of course, keep the content fresh.
