has anyone noticed a change in the organic results?

I've heard some rumors, and noticed it myself on some of my sites that since the last PR update (end of march) people had noticed a sudden drop in their google rankings. (of course if one drops other climb).

can anyone else here report such a change since 31.3.10 ?

 

one of my sites climbed 10 spots, but that is because i have been working hard at it, or so i think lol

 

yea I cant really say its because of a higher PR sites are suddenly doing better in one day.

 

i lost in this PR update...

 

They dropped in ranks because G removed a lot of backlinks lately at a lot of sites due to their new algorythm thats coming up.

 

Interestingly I have noticed some of my competitors dropped in rank... thankfully mine are still the same. It may have something to do with page speed. Apperently that is a new thing google are scoring sites on now...

 

Aside from few inner page PR jump, I got good rankings in this update..

 

a couple of my sites lost all pr on the last update, and during the more recent one, they gained them back, kinda odd...

 

PR has been increased but SERP positions have been decreased for my sites.

 

I have had mixed results too. Their algorithm is a little too hard to figure out - unless you have thousands of sites that you can compare and contrast, it's anyone's guess exactly what type of criteria they're using for SERPS and PR now.

PR just update recently like few days ago, YES indeed i notice a lof ot SERP changes

 

My PR3 site became PR4, PR2 site became PR3 and PR0 site is still happy being PR0..

 

changes by the hour, very strange .... the Google algorithm is beyond understanding . ..

 

this is not making any sense

many site down and many climb

this is happening since 20 years

 

I don't think there were relations between this 2 issues. PR would be a ranking factor for SERP but not affect SERP in this way.

I just have a PR rise from 3 to 4 and have also noticed that my top 20 ranking keywords raise from 468 to 519.
