I have had no success with CJ, it was just a waste of time for me. ZERO sales. After 3 months I have removed their links from my website. CPC or CPM ads are way way better.
me too like 50-60 every month. Test it, ask your friend to buy some $5 stuff and see if you got commission or not I like it much better after amazon. my id itself is my site. I will put more than 50% of CJ. some how i dont think the amount of traffic going to Link share are converted properly.
Hello, I am earning zero money from CJ for the past two years. I am afraid that there should be some special techniques how to earn money with CJ besides choosing good vendors. I am still learning. Best regards Alex
I don't know about Clickbank. Seems their vendors are kinda sleezy. Linkshare seems to have legitimate vendors.
cool, i want to implement CJ on my site http://www.chaarly.com is an ecommerce site, do yuo recommend it? or will downgrade my site as business? Because i have a lot of visits , and sells but never try CJ , i have registered right now,im looking for vendors. Is CJ good to my site? thanks.
Hello, Currently, my site generates a unique Customer ID for each user. The variable name for this in my database is CustomerID. How do I get the SID function of an Affiliate link to query this value from my database. So when a customer with a CustomerID of 55 makes a click or transaction through the affiliate link. The link queries my database for the correct CustomerID and inputs it into the SID value. This way when I run my reports I can see exactly when, where, and how much Customer 55 spent, so that I can reward him based on his transaction? What exactly do I put in the SID field of the link builder tool to get the affiliate link to query my database and return the specific SID# so I can identify my user when he or she completes the purchase?
I earned a lot with them , years ago. But now, like others say...scratching for some $$ That kind of affiliating is slowly dying on us.
CJ doesn't have a good reputation. Many lost they made money in the account because of the fact that "CJ reserves the right to close down any account without prior notice or consent". So they can take your money away, "just because they want to do so". I personally has an identical experience. At the same time: LinkShare seems to have more responsive merchants - if you join, they review and accept or reject you much faster. At CJ you'd have to wait for ages. The response rate is so much lower. But there are lots of big companies with CJ... and LinkShare too!
Personally I have not earned money from CJ. I use Clickbank for this. But I have seen various marketers to make huge profits from cj.
