obviously, you can't share your keywords or you risk an impressive number of competitors following your steps. But suggestions for methods and help can be shared.
Anyone interested in doing affiliate marketing for our product? Not going through CJ or Clickbank. Have our own affiliate program set up
I was trying it out but I couldn't find any in the food niche and a few which were there, weren't available in my Country. :-(
I have been working with them for a long time and I am doing pretty well, they have pretty good number of advertisers, i am promoting over 1200 program today, and i am getting a real money. As a manner of fact they used to be my biggest source of income for my website ( until i start shuffling programs around to make a balance between different affiliate networks ).
The program owners are just screening the people and taking competition to them by setting up websites just like there affiliates and selling direct on them. that's the reason this marketing is getting tough daily. We make 3 digit figure and a single brand owner n CJ is making millions alone learning of our methods.
Yes, Its been 9 years and so much has evolved/changed but opportunities are still out there for grabbing. I started off with adsense and made some money but that was during the first year in 2008 and then I never went back to adsense because it takes away the traffic and gives you peanuts for that. I have done a couple of affiliate networks and man do they bring in money! Affiliate marketing is still good enough as it was back then. Yes the strategies have changed but it works still
You're rite about the strategies have changed. I used to be able to work for 3-4 days and earning over $10K. Now, it's not the same anymore and I have to work my butt off, days and nights and not making that anymore. Well, off course I sold off my money cows over the years and now I have to work harder to earn my money.
I think it was probably a good idea that you sold them as they probably wont be as good in todays time. As for the change, we got ourselves into this industry and this industry evolves faster than anything. Still better (more exciting) than working in a govt. office haha
Yeah, I let go of 2 sites and pursued something else for the past 3 years. But now I'm back with affiliate marketing because I love the ability to work anywhere and earning money.
Unfortunately, I've never made any money from CJ. They do have some good solid vendors, big brand names. I have made money through Adsense, Chitika, and other Affiliates - like credit cards, etc. So I know Internet Marketing and Affiliate Marketing does work.
