link: wolframalpha Hey there DP'ers thought I'd share this site with you all it's a knowledge search engine created by a mathematical genus known as Stephen Wolfram en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stephen_Wolfram This site was created to help academic's and the general public find all sorts of useful information and resource in an answer based format. If you find it helpful or resourceful in anyway then feel free to share your thoughts, ROOFIS
Yeah I tried it as recommended by my brother-in-law, it's pretty interesting for some things but it's not necessarily a catch-all google replacement or something. It's more for information and computing. It was also mentioned in a PC magazine that I saw recently. Truthfully though I had never heard of it before.
I have tried checking and I found out that it has calculations. Sounds good.. I would recommend it to my friend..
It won't be replacing Google anytime soon. However, it does present the comparatively few data sets it has in a very rich, deep, and meaningful way. Good research tool. They should charge a fee for research services.
I have tried it previously and surprisingly they have some really good data. Also the its very modest on itself.
The dept of the answers is amazing. Damn! If I was back in college, this thing could do hours of my calculus homeworks in 5 minute! (which subject I got a C, and D+ on, by the way.)
