Has anyone here ever shaved a dog?

heat still makes them smell bad though

it's a pain in the ass, but certainly can't beat trying to debug phpbb 2

 

Do exactly the same with my collie for the same reasons
When she comes back she looks like a greyhound

 

We used to have a West highland White terrier, who we had to shave every few weeks in the summer to keep her from being damaged too badly by the heat. Only issue with shaving is if your dogs have light skin they can get sunburned badly very easily. Small dogs are easy to shave for the most part though (as long as their nails are clipped before hand).
